Location
The Centro de Recursos Microbiológicos is situated in the "Edificio Departmental" at the Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia (see campus map) , Universidade Nova de Lisboa (Faculty of Science and Technology, New University of Lisbon).  The faculty is near the town of Caparica, on the south bank of the Tagus river.

How to get to the Research Centre:

From the airport
An airport shuttle bus runs regularly from the airport terminal to the centre of Lisbon.  From there you can take the metro to Campolide station where you catch the Fertagus train across the river bridge to Pragal train station.  From Pragal take the surface metro directly to the faculty.

By car
From Lisbon
Take the A2 south across the Tagus river and then the IC20 to Caparica (the first turn-off after crossing the bridge).  Follow the signs to the faculty.

From the south
Exit the A2 at Almada follow the signs to Caparica until you reach the exit for the university.
